The Earth First! Summer Gathering is being held at:
Bradley Nook Farm, Hulland Ward, Ashbourne, Derbyshire DE6 3EL
OS Grid Reference for the gate: SK 226475
For liftshares and links to public transport websites see the Gathering website

The first sessions start at 2.30pm on Wednesday 17th August, so if possible please arrive on Tuesday 16th; the gate will open at midday. The first meal from the Anarchist Teapot will be breakfast on Wednesday. The last will be lunch for those helping pack up on Monday.
The site is 18 miles north-west of Derby, which has the nearest mainline train station. The train station nearest the site is 8 miles away in Belper, to the north of Derby. There are buses from Derby and Belper to within half a mile of the site. There may be pickups organised from Belper, in which case times and contact details will be posted somewhere in the station forecourt.
From Derby train station, Bus 109 (to Ashbourne) leaves from Forecourt (Stand 1) at 7:40, 9:55, 12:55, 14:55, and 17:30. Ask to be let off on Ashbourne Road at the junction to Gorse Lane, known as 'Bradley Nook' (2km west of the village Hulland Ward). The service also calls at Bay 12 of Derby bus station a few minutes after the times above. There is also a bus at 22:40 from this stand.
If you can't make one of the buses from Derby, you can get a bus or train to Belper (takes 12 minutes) then get bus No 113 to the site from there (20 minutes). Or you can get a taxi to the end of the lane from Belper (tell the driver it's just past Hulland Ward) for about £10: phone 01773 880880 or 01773 824824.
Trains from Derby to Belper leave every two hours (from 08:26–16:26), with more at peak times. Buses (R61, R62, R63, R64 and XR6) leave from Derby bus station about every 15 minutes, until 23.05 (Mon–Sat). The last 113 bus from Belper, Mon-Sat is 17:39.
From Belper Mon-Sat, buses go to the site from Wilkos in King Street, a short walk from train station. Bus 113 take 20 minutes, to the junction of Gorse Lane and Ashbourne Rd (as above). The service leaves at 9:09, 11:09, 12:25, 14:09, 16:19, and 17:39.
On Sundays, there are only two No 109 buses from Derby to Ashbourne, leaving the train station 1.55 and 17.35 and there is no 113 bus towards the site from Belper on Sundays but bus 202 leaves Wilkos at 9:46 am: ask to get off at Hulland Ward (see map).
For more on Derbyshire bus services call Traveline on 0870 6082608 (open 7am-9pm) or see the Gathering website for links to timetables and maps.
To get to the site by foot, take the footpath and cross Dayfield Brook. Please visit the gate tent (by the wooden gate on Ridge Lane) first though.

The site is on the A517 between Ashbourne and Belper. Gorse Lane is eight miles West of Belper, and four miles East of Ashbourne. Once on Gorse Lane, take the first left into Oak Lane. Continue to the crossroads. Ridge Lane is the left-hand turn and will be signposted. It is the only route to the site accessible by vehicles. There is limited space for live-in vehicles on site.
See the website for lifts offered.
