Here are some links to campaign and information sites about issues that may be discussed at the Gathering. The idea is that people can get themselves informed on the issues to a certain extent before the Gathering, so that hopefully less time needs to be spent getting up to date in each workshop session, and we can move on to action and campaign planning.

Research for any issue should start with Brighton - based Schnews and Corporate Watch. For an alternative to the mainstream media, you should also try Indymedia.

This list is too short, there must be other campaigns that should be represented here. For a start, we're missing anti-air travel, anti-building on green sites etc. campaign websites. If you can think of one, contact us.

	Dissent The Dissent! network - planned actions against the 2005 G8 summit. Took direct action against the G8 and what it represents. Aimed to disrupt the G8 and prevent their summit circus from taking place as planned.
	Do or Die "Voices from the Ecological Resistance" - Do or Die is an occasional journal crammed with reports and analysis from the world-wide ecological frontlines.

	Human Genetics Alert An independent watchdog group based in London, funded by a leading British charity, opposed to some genetic research developments, such as genetic discrimination, cloning and inheritable ("germ line") genetic engineering of human beings.
	Indymedia UK A network of individuals, independent and alternative media activists and organisations, offering grassroots, non-corporate, non-commercial coverage of important social and political issues. Good for details on resistants at recent G8 summits etc.
